What are the Dancing Hearts?
The Dancing Hearts are a group of SEVEN Centrestage dancers who will represent all of the dancers at Centrestage and work directly with the Centrestage Booster Club. They will be similar to a school’s student council. Below are some of the things they will be working with the Booster Club on...
- Booster Club sponsored activities for dancers during the year (ex: father/daughter event ideas, movie nights, arts enrichment and much more)
- Community Outreach- who are we wanting to help in the community, how, why and what can we do to make a BIG impact on the groups we decide upon
- Performance ideas
- Class activities for different holidays
- Studio parties
- And much more!!!
We are looking for dancers who are interested in dedicating extra time and energy to help Centrestage be a family with activities and events that make all dancers excited and welcome. The following are qualifications we are looking for in order to be considered for the Dancing Hearts...
- Meetings will be held the first Saturday of each month from 10am-11am. You must be able to commit to these meetings.
- You must be outgoing and possess leadership skills, as you will be promoting and recruiting other dancers to participate in the events the Booster Club and Dancing Hearts will be holding.
- You must be a great role model to other Centrestage dancers both in your classes and around the studio in general.
- You must be over 8 years old
If you are interested in being on the Dancing Hearts, please fill out the application and return it to the studio by Sept. 25th. The Booster Club will be making the final decision as to who is on the Dancing Hearts and will make the announcement on Sept. 28th. We look forward to starting this new group and are excited for the Dancing Hearts to make a big impact both at Centrestage and in the community.
