Jennifer Cresswell, Director of Centrestage Dance Studio, has had 20 years of dance experience including: twelve years of teaching, four years of competitive gymnastics, member of the Midwest Ballet Company, and University of Nebraska cheer-dance squad. She has performed and studied internationally as well as assisted in directing half-time shows for the Hula Bowl and Cotton Bowl and for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Jenny graduated from ASU, and recently retired from the head coach and choreographer for the Arizona Rattlers dance team, the Sidewinders. She also recently created a dance line for Scottsdale Community College and coached the Arcadia High School Varsity pom squad.
In an article written by the Arizona Republic Jenny stated, "I want to see everyone have a good time and a positive experience with dance. I don't want it to be ridiculously competitive." Centrestage Dance Studio's goals mirror Jenny's philosophy. Her love for dance and performing is obvious in her teaching style. Jenny teaches her students to work successfully as a group as well as to excel personally. She is committed to knowing the family's and student's goals, and to helping each student meet those goals, not only in dance, but in all aspects of their lives. Jenny believes dance can give one the poise and confidence to be successful in life.
At Centrestage Dance Studio there is a place for you whether you love to dance, love to perform, or just want a healthier and more positive lifestyle through dance.
